We celebrated with Nicole and Ollie at the North Ranch Center in Thousand Oaks, CA for their wedding engagement party. Nicole and Ollie wanted to have a party (Reception) before their wedding ceremony the following day. They were looking for a light and fun atmosphere and to navigate away from most of the normal wedding traditions.
Nicole and Ollie during the planning process wanted a country vibe throughout the night with 90’s top hits mixed in which went over well with the dance time being kicked off with a country line dance with “GoodTime” by Alan Jackson. We also closed out the night with “Wagon Wheel’ by Old Crow Medicine Wagon followed by “Forever Country” which is performed by a mix of artists.
Typically don’t mention too much about food during my wedding recaps, but Nicole and Ollie I believe nailed it by having Rock Chef Rolls bring there food truck out and caterer their engagement party. I make it a habit to walk around the room frequently throughout the night to check sound levels, and to see any toe tapping, lip singing, or music comments to make sure I’m on point with the music, but I heard an overwhelming response to the great food prepared and how much they all enjoyed the food which I don’t hear often. I included a few pictures below as the presentation from Rock Chef Rolls was incredible. So great find by Nicole and Ollie and it matched their causal atmosphere they were going for!
