Karen & Chris’s Ceremony & Wedding Reception at Westlake Village Inn

Karen and Chris picked out an awesome venue The Westlake Village Inn to tie the knot and celebrate. We started the day in The Tuscan Garden where Karen and Chris had there wedding ceremony. Beautiful green hedge entrance into the garden with a great backdrop and fountain. Since Chris and Karen love the islands they had a Tropical/Island feel. Chris came into the ceremony with an authentic lei and Karen came in with a Hawaii head lei.

Following the ceremony everyone moved to the patio area for cocktail hour where Samantha and Greg greeted everyone with Hawaiian leis and photo booth. Instead of using one of our backdrops we just used the venue. You can see below the photo booth backdrop and design which matched the theme. Towards the end of cocktail hour we gathered everyone together and took a group shot before entering the reception room.

The reception room had 23 uplights around the room fading from blue, purple, and fuchsia. Later on in the evening we had a special toast and dance to celebrate Karen’s Father who recently passed away. Karen shared some audio with me that I edited together for toasts. Following the toast was a special dance dedicated to Karen’s dad. Now this song was extra special as I worked with Chris and inserted her father’s voice over the break (The part where there is no vocals.) of the song to make it extra special.

The rest of the night we had a full dance floor. Not only did we have great English party songs but, I also played Spanish. I love when I get to mix it up a bit. Thank you to Karen and Chris for trusting the team and I on their wedding day!
