This event was very special to me and Y-it Entertainment as this was the last event in the Northern Virginia market before we moved to Southern California so this event was extra special to me and I wanted to leave Virginia on a high. We were lucky enough to celebrate with Jamie & Greg at one of my favorite venues Airlie which is tucked away in the Virginia country side with beautiful gardens.
Working with Jamie and Greg was great! Greg is in the Air Force and they are stationed in Las Vegas so planning with them was mostly over the phone and through email. Anyone who knows me I have a soft heart for the military so pulling out a few extra things for them was a must.
During the booking process Jamie noticed I do a highlight video for most of my clients and asked if we would be willing to shoot some extra video for them and we did. Jamie and Greg also used our Ceremony services and Photo Booth. If you notice in the pictures below the flowers on the seating table number match the Photo Booth strips. Jamie and Greg also hand wrote the text as well and we were able to put that on each of the photo booth strips that you can see in the Scrap book photo.
One of the highlights of working at Airlie is the Spanish steps on the back of the house. Jamie and Greg took advantage of those steps at the end of their event with group shot. Now this was at the end of the night so it was dark outside. We utilized 20 uplights to light the steps for the photos which you can see below.
I will always remember Jamie and Greg’s Wedding. Just as this was a new chapter in their life this was a new chapter to start for Y-it Entertainment as the very next day we started our journey in a Penske truck west! Thank you to Jamie and Greg for trusting in me and my team!
